Hill Air Force Base

Yesterday, we took Keyan to the Hill Air Force base (about an hour and 15 minutes north of Provo) to see all of the airplanes. Needless to say, he loved it. He ran from plane to plane, pointing up and saying, "Eh-pane, Eh-pane!" It was loads of fun- so much that we ended up taking 172 pictures! Here are just a few of them:
This is an old model ejection seat, which launched the pilot or navigator 300 ft into the air. Current models launch 500 ft, which, as far as altitude goes, guarantees that a parachute will open. It was sixes with the older models. Yikes.

Keyan looks so cute sitting up there on the plane! We wish we could have been there with you! xoxo
