It's a video clip from Britain's Got Talent. A 47 year old, unmarried, never-been-kissed, very plain looking woman comes on stage. She is greeted by all kinds of stares and eye rolls. Until she opens her mouth to sing.
This clip is very profound and gets me thinking.... Why are we so quick to pass judgement on others? What obscures our view of the divine worth and potential of others? Jeremy Jacox (Jono's cousin) was first to post this link, and I love how eloquently he described it. He said, "
"Sometimes we forget..... Often greatness is found in the most unlikely of places. Often it is not in those of high profile, those who are popular, powerful, or who can astonish with oratory, wealth or even talent and fame. Yes, while we can find greatness in those places, more often--I believe--we see it in those who have not yet been celebrated.... But greatness doesn't need an audience to be great."
Enjoy the clip. I've watched it several times already :)

I am so glad you liked it! I just watched it again and then went back to look at the lyrics. I think her song choice is very symbolic... especially the first stanzas.
