When you are a mom, you find gratitude in the little things. Today, my gratitude extends to Crayola for making non-toxic, even if ingested, markers. Because even though Nolan had black teeth, black tongue, and black drool for about 2 hours... no true harm was done :)

Black drool!!!!LOL. I love it. I'll have to find a pic of my oldest when she was 4 or so and I had woken up late and her face was completely red. I mean the only thing not red on her face was the white and blue of her eyes and her teeth! And the rest of her body was covered in red lines...even her back. I asked her what she had done as I tried not to laugh..and she replied in all seriousness: I'm spiderman....I turned away to hide my smile and got the camera out to take her pic before giving her a bath. The marker was also a crayola washable and the water was pink. Man! the experiences we have as parents. It's love and hate!!
He is really growing up quickly! I can't get over what a fast developer he is. Was Keyan like that?
Keyan did things that we, as biased parents, felt were advanced.. but probably weren't (crawling at 7 or 8 months, walking at 10).. but yeah, Nolan is crazy. He weights 19 lbs and is like 27.5 inches long, but I look at him sometimes and think he is teeny because he acts so much older. He pulls himself up onto EVERYthing. I already roam the halls at church because he is such an active baby!
