I have had no time to blog! Life has been a
little crazy around here. First, I encountered some obstacles along the way to knee recovery. My physical therapy aide had me do a wrong set of exercises one day and I ended up having to stay off my feet for 3 days straight. Then I started babysitting again, and because I couldn't quite bend my knee yet, I had to bend over to lift the baby, and well, I totally killed my back. Another few days in bed. Then, we got the stomach flu. More time in bed. Then, lucky me, I got it a second time a week later! To top it all off, I am desperately trying to finish my last elective class (the deadline is Nov. 25), so that I can finally officially graduate from BYU!
So, I apologize for being MIA on the blog; I'm sure things will be better after the holidays!
I did want to say thank you to everyone who shared their Halloween traditions & routines. We ended up taking Keyan to Safe Halloween Downtown. He trick-or-treated to some of the stores along Center Street, and then we came home for dinner. We were going to take him out to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood, but by the time people had started turning on their lights, Keyan had already fallen asleep. Oh well... he was a cute, little cowboy while it lasted!

Keyan looks adorable! I love the cowboy costume period! James was a cowboy the night before Cadie was born. I LOVED that costume. It made for great pictures.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having such a rough time. Glad that you all are on the mend.
He is so cute, and that porch brings back so many memories. I actually got tears. My kids used to stand on our porch just across the way. You could have trick-or-treated at our apartment. Isn't that funny. I prayed we could get a house forever and now I have all these sentimental emotions about our wonderful apartment.
I'm sorry you've had such a bad month! I didn't know you finished your last class!!!! Congrats! When I finally finished my last independent study, I was so sick of school that I didn't even feel happy about it...that would be remembering the experience too much. Are you going to do a graduation ceremony?
Tiff- I totally know what you mean... that's exactly why I don't care one whit about walking!
