I read a quote yesterday that perfectly describes my mood of late: "One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done." The holidays were so great, but all I've been able to notice is what all I have to do to get back on track after a two-week vacation! And consequently, I've been dragging my feet. Except in one area. Playing with Keyan!!! Can I just tell you how absolutely wonderful it is to not have to watch someone else's child anymore? It's been so great to focus my attention on just Keyan. Like just now... when I tended to and kissed better the owie he got from a"kwock-o-di-ewl" (crocodile) who "sckwatched" (scratched) him. Between the "where do I even start?" of chores and the never-ending fun of pretend play... I've just felt a little blah about blogging. But I'm sure when we are fully back into our routine, I'll take the time to switch to a non-Christmas theme... and post some truly clever things :)

I know the feeling. Its hard to get backinto the swing of things. I love it though, I love the feeling of a fresh start. espacially after I was so lazy during the holidays. I love how you type out how Keyan says words. I can totally picture it. How cute. One day I will no longer watch other peoples children. I just don't know when that day will be. So we decided not to do the walking thing anymore, because its FREEZING out lately. So we are meeting at the church MWF at 8:45am to like 10am and excersizing to workout videos. So you should come. We are going tomorrow. Oh and let me know when you wanna have that meeting. anyway, long comment sorry, i should have just emailed ya i guess! haha oh well!
Those days with the kids are the best, aren't they? Sometimes I just go on strike and let everything drop but just being with the kiddos. It's so refreshing! Way to be, way to be!
